What can you say about this stunning location?
Milford Sound and the drive through Fiordland to get there has to be one of New Zealand’s most amazing landscapes. Carved from glaciers during the ice age, this area has some of New Zealands most impressive mountainous scenery.
This is a shot I took of myself using my Hanhel remote trigger on the shoreline as the sun began to hit the summits of Mitre Peak and Mount Pembroke.
We had to continuously keep moving as the tide was coming in so fast. I was shooting astro shots in front of the grass on the left when we first arrived less than 2 hours before this shot was taken.
I’ve got plenty more images from this location and the rest of my trip coming soon so stay tuned.Advertisements
